Adderal is a mild stimulant. If you don't have ADD, Adderal really won't do anything for you. It would feel pretty much like you drank a cup of coffee, only it may have much worse side effects.
Never take someone else's medicine. If you have some underlying condition or another medication it can interact with, it could make you very, very sick.
I am not a Doctor-
My son was on Adderall for ADHD- I don't think a 20mg dose is very much but how a drug affects anyone is based in part on their body weight. I recall when I was discussing Adderall with my son's Doctor, he told me that if the patient didn't need it, there wouldn't be any horrible effect other than hyping him up. I am pretty sure Adderall is an amphetamine (like speed- thus the reason all ADHD drugs are controlled substances) not a mind altering- So I wouldn't think that taking it would make you trip- Might make you feel kinda lousy and jittery and maybe raise your heartbeat if the dose is big enough for your body weight. IMHO, it probably wouldn't be much use as a recreational drug-
