Suzette, it is time to get a new doctor. I suggest you find a neurologist who can either confirm or disconfirm your former doc's diagnosis. Refuse to allow the shoddy diagnostic techniques of ANY doc ruin your life.

run, don't walk, to another doctor and get another appointment. Epilepsy can be moderate to severe but can be controlled with meds. Find a specialist! And get rid of that other doctor!

I strongly suggest you get a second opinion ASAP. Since this bungled diagnoses was years ago you need to get on with your life. Get some counseling and then just to boost your moral

AMA. Ask your NEW doctor to help you.
