AND, if smoking does affect one's lungs and thus, running and all...why do soldiers smoke? If they smoke, then wouldnt they not be fit enough to carry out the tasks they have to perform, eg: long marches, running, fighting, etc?If all i have smoked is a pack of cigs my entire life, will it affect my lungs?
Hi!
Yes, it will but of course not to the extreme if you have smoked a pack a day or such.
Why do soldiers smoke? Being a soldier, I can tell you it's not always easy and it gets boring sitting around waiting for orders from higher ups. For the soldiers that do smoke, sometimes it does affect them to where their PT scores suffer but usually not. Usually, they are young enough and fit enough where it does not affect their physical stamina.
Soldiers aren't the only ones smoke that shouldn't. Doctors are always an irony, you know!
Anyways, the point is, it will affect you but minimally so no worries.
Good luck!
The answer is no and it does effect them, but if they are fit and young, they can overcome most of the problems.
1 pack will not affect your lungs. Soldiers are forever waiting for the worst case scenario and as such suffer from nervous reaction and as a way of dealing with this they smoke you will find that a lot of police smoke too.~~
Well if u have just smokin a pack in ur entire life than nothing to worry abt. but if u have been smokin for entire life than there is everything to worry abt. You have senn soldiers running but im sure you have not seen a single one of them dying of lunng cancer cause they dont show it, they cant show a soldier die. AVOID.
