I want to get my tongue peirced in the summer..?

but i don't want to show my parents until its fully healed. I know about those flat tongue rings and the retainers but how much are they suppossed to cost?I want to get my tongue peirced in the summer..?
I don't know how old you are or where you plan on having the piercing down. Hopefully, it's someplace "legal and clean" and not being done by yourself or a friend as you could get an infection. My son pierced his tongue himself a few years ago and avoided me like the plague for a few days. He didn't eat because he couldn't, then when he walked by me I said something to him, I probably asked him what his problem was. He finally spoke and I noticed the piercing. Besides, even if I hadn't seen it, I could tell by his speech something wasn't right. I think you should talk about this with your parents, you really shouldn't hide anything from them and they WILL find out sooner or later and might make you take your piercing out then. As for cost, I don't honestly know. You'd have to call someone who does it and they'd tell you. If you're underage, they won't touch you without parent's consent and in some places, without a parent present.
